Admission

Tuition Fee

The tuition fee is HK$168,000 (24 cps) for the whole programme, which is provisional and subject to adjustment. Tuition fees paid are normally not refundable or transferable. Students who still need to take courses to meet graduation requirements beyond the regular study period (one year for full-time / two years for part-time) will need to pay a fee for extended study.

Entrance Requirements

Recognised Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualifications in a related field such as education, neuroscience, and psychology. Applicants whose entrance qualifications were obtained from an institution outside Hong Kong where the medium of instruction is not English should have attained one of the following minimum English proficiency requirements, which may be subject to adjustment:

Overall score of IELTS 6.0 (academic version) (Reading must be 6.0) (the test should be taken in test centres and the result should be valid within two years); or
Grade C or above in GCSE / GCE OL English; or
TOEFL score of 80 (internet-based test) (the test should be taken in test centres and the result should be valid within two years); or
Band 6 in the Chinese Mainland's College English Test (CET) (a total score of 430 or above and the test result should be valid within two years); or
Other equivalent qualifications.

*For example, if you are applying for 2024/25 academic year, your IELTS / TOEFL / CET-6 test must be obtained on or after 1 January 2022.
